I have to say right off the bat I love my sister-in-law. I was thrilled when she asked me to be a bridesmaid at her wedding in August way back before I started this little company and the adventure I was on. So, coming closer to the wedding date, I was honestly torn, stay and tour as it is my first year in business or forgo the tours and travel up to Northern Alberta on August Long Weekend and be a part of the wedding. Well, Kimberly won and off I went. It was quite and adventure! I toured Thursday and flew out first thing Friday morning. There were issues with the flights on Air Canada, so Westjet took me on and got me to Grand Prairie. Thank you Westjet!!
Once in Grand Prairie, I met up with Amos, Jordan (Amos’s brother) a couple of his kids and Taylan, my daughter, in a huge camper. It’s safe to say that I slept quite well in the back of that thing as we made our way north (the few large glasses of wine at the airport before they met me helped that situation out).
Saturday morning we all got up and got ready for the wedding. Its was awesome! But I decided to have my own theme with this as I was definitely out of my comfort zone in a baby blue chiffon dress and cowboy boots so I brought a little “Krystina” with me. As you can see with the photos below, I had such a great time! Loved every minute of it! Next day, I flew home to wine tour in Kelowna that following Monday…. What a whirlwind!
Me just getting started…
